My commitment to sustainability evolved slowly. It was nourished by time spent outdoors as a distance runner. A 25 year career with GE Energy and GE Aviation culminated as Director of Engineering at the Rockford facility of what is now GE Aerospace. Early retirement presented the opportunity to more directly advance the cause. To that end, I earned a Certificate in Environmental Sustainability through the University of Wisconsin Superior. Forest City Sustainability was born of that passion - to do what I can to help make the Rockford region a leader in sustainability.
